Funny picture...

I think I posted about this a long time ago, but I came across it today and it made me laugh. When I was substitute teaching in Huntsville from Aug-Dec 2010, I got to do a long-term sub job at the high school. I loved the classes & kids. Anyway, one day, a couple of my favorite girls were finished with their work and were playing this "game" on the computer. I think it was called "The Love Tester". Anyway, you plug in 2 peoples' names and it tells if they are a good match or not. The girls asked my first name and the name of my fiance'. As the percentage was gradually climbing, the girls were so excited, saying "Ooooh, Miss Frazier!!! Nobody ever makes it to 90%!!!!" ;-)

One of my favorite days! July 28, 2012

Today was one of my favorite days in our marriage so far! :-) We had a wonderful time doing lots of things. Hope you enjoy looking at these pictures!

We went to an annual event in our town called "Camas Days". Lots of booths are set up, tons of vendors & food, entertainment, etc. We watched the bathtub races, which was so fun! :-) I took a video of it, as well.

Then, we attended a free concert in the park by the Portland Festival Symphony. It was really special!

After that, Brandon took me to The University of Portland for the first time. He got his bachelors degree there and his dad was a professor, also. It's a beautiful campus!

After the tour, we drove to Downtown Portland to Portland City Grill. We celebrated our birthdays in style! It's on the 30th floor of a building in downtown. The whole restaurant is composed of windows overlooking the city. It was awesome!!!

I love being with my husband & doing fun things together. :-) I am so thankful for him and all the blessings the Lord continues to give us!

My 38th Birthday!

I had an AWESOME birthday this year! I started the day with a girlfriend-date of lunch & shopping. Next, I got a pedicure. Then, I drove to Vancouver to pick up Brandon. We met & drove to the Portland Waterfront to board the Portland Spirit for a dinner cruise. It was WONDERFUL!!!!

Here is the album from my birthday. The cruise pictures may seem "Bridgey" but that's because Portland is famous for its bridges. :-) I love riding boats, trains, trolleys, planes, buses, WHATEVER! (oh, but not horses or other animals. Sorry!)

Enjoy!

Life is good!

Life is good! We've been traveling alot and enjoying the summer! Also, we landscaped our back yard and some in the front. It looks awesome!

As we speak, my best friend, Candice, is having a baby! She's been in labor since last night. We are praying for her, as she is having trouble dilating. Please say a prayer for her!

I am going to be posting some albums of pictures today. I'm going to try to catch up for the last 2 months that I missed. :-)

Happy Summer to you!

Everyday Life... :-)

Nothing too exciting going on lately. We had a combined garage sale with our neighbors last Friday and Saturday. And the farmer who owns land behind our house has 2 new baby calves that I'm VERY excited about! I love seeing those little babies in the pasture. They are so cute!

Also, a teenage girl from our town here in Washington went to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville (where my parents live) to audition for the musical theater dept. She's a sweetheart and I think the world of her. She got to meet my mom & have lunch with her while she was there. Also, my mom's SHSU college friends let Ellie stay at their house for 3 days. It's a small world!

My sweet little friend, Ellie...

Most of you know from Facebook, but I got a new hairstyle! I love it!!!

Here's a good picture of my little chubby-cheeked Sweetie....

I love these bushes in our yard. They are in the Rhododendron family. So pretty!!!

Our first anniversary!

We had such a wonderful 1st anniversary! On Friday, March 30, we went to my 1st fine arts event in Portland. We saw Wicked and it was fabulous! Then, on Saturday, March 31, we went to a beautiful resort about 40 minutes from where we live called Skamania Lodge. We had a room with a view of the Columbia River and mountains. It was gorgeous!!!

Our actual anniversary was Monday, April 2nd. I cooked dinner and made it a special "candlelight dinner". It was a great night!

Then, we left for an awesome trip April 4-8 to Leavenworth, WA (I just posted those pictures a few minutes ago). When we returned from our trip, Brandon's parents took us out for dinner. So, we really celebrated for a week and a half!!! That's the way I like to do it! :-) Ha,ha.

We are blessed and I am thankful!!! Enjoy our pictures!

Our 1st Anniversary!

Trip to North-Central Washington

We took a trip on April 4-8, 2012. This was my first time to see Leavenworth, Washington. Leavenworth was voted "The best place to spend Christmas in the U.S." It was so beautiful!

One year ago... Thursday

Here's my post from one year ago today... My parents (& Granny) met Brandon's parents for the first time. And we loaded my U-haul boxes to be moved to Washington! Check it out!

March 31, 2011~

I'm all loaded!!!

This morning at 10 am, Brandon's dad and my dad went with me to the storage unit place and watched as 3 professional mover-guys loaded all my stuff to be shipped to Washington! That was a long sentence! :-) Thank God that is over!!! It was a very positive experience! And the temperature was 49 degrees when we got up this morning. It was chilly in the shade. Great day for moving!

Then, my mom, Granny and Brandon's mom joined us at Chili's for lunch! It was so fun! This was the first day for my parents to meet the Rays. We had a really good time together. I really enjoyed it. :-)

Next on the list... I'm headed to the nail shop in about 30 minutes for my mani/pedi. Can't wait!

By this time tomorrow, I will have my BF Candice and Brandon in the car with me!!!! Yay!!!!

Here are pictures of my U-boxes. I really enjoyed watching & hearing our dads interact. I love this picture of our dads supervising the loading procedure...2 supervisors supervising... ;-) I'm soooo glad we hired movers to load the boxes. It would have been really hard work for our dads and others that day. Those movers were done in 2 hours or less!

This is a picture of my 2 families visiting over lunch. It was a great day!

This is the ONLY picture I have of my hands/nails. I grew my natural nails out and then had the fancy gel polish painted on them (French manicure). It lasted for 2+weeks. It was amazing, but it ruined my nails. It has taken a year for them to recover! Seriously! But, I guess they looked good on my wedding day & honeymoon. :-)

Here is the post my best friend, Candice, posted on her blog last year before my wedding. It is very special to me! I just read it again tonight. Check it out!

http://toddandcandice.blogspot.com/

You will have to click on 2011 on her blog archive; then click on March. My story is the first one you will see. Sorry this is so much work!

(I couldn't get the link to post. Brandon is asleep already, so you will have to cut & paste the link. I'm sorry!)

Here is my post from last year... I just can't believe it's been a year already.

3 more days!!!

My U-boxes arrived at the storage unit today. We are having movers load the boxes in the morning at 10 am.

Brandon's mom and dad arrived tonight! It was so good to see them. We had dinner together at the best Mexican food restaurant in Huntsville. Yum! :)

Tomorrow will be a busy day... loading the U-boxes at 10... lunch with the Rays and Fraziers... I have a pedi/mani at 4 pm... then I have to finish packing for my honeymoon! YAY!

I pick Candice and Brandon up Friday afternoon. I can't wait!!!! :) The wedding day is almost here!!

One year ago... Tuesday

One year ago today, my mom & I drove to Arkansas to pick up my Granny for the wedding. We drove 5.5 hours there, picked her up and drove right back to Huntsville 5.5 hours. The trip went great and it was really fun. :-) My mom sat in the back seat with my Granny, like I was their chauffeur. Here's a picture of them...

That was the 1st time my Granny got to see my parents' new house. They moved to Huntsville, TX after they lost their house in Hurricane Ike in the fall of 2008. My Granny stayed with them for almost a week last year. It was a really special visit.

Here's a beautiful picture of my Granny at our wedding...

Here we are together...

This was the 1st time Granny got to meet Brandon. I'm so glad Clark (our photographer) caught their meeting on film. I have a 5-6 pictures of them hugging and talking, but this one's my favorite. Brandon is an angel & Granny loves him!

I love this picture of Brandon because he has both his arms stretched out wide, hugging Granny & me. So sweet! (click to enlarge)

One year ago... Monday

It's Wedding Week!!! :-) One year ago today (Monday, March 28), I spent the day with Suzann, my dear friend and pastor's wife. Suzann had driven to Huntsville the night before, just to be with me before the wedding week kicked into high gear. We ate dinner together at Double Dave's Pizza. We drove back to Mom & Dad's and watched the sunset on their back porch. We sat together on the porch swing, talking until about 10 pm! It was so fun & much-needed girl time. :-)

Mom made us biscuits & chocolate gravy for breakfast (a special family dish!). We sat at the dining room table, talking & laughing. I left briefly and dropped off our wedding rings to be engraved. :-)

I drove back to my parents' house. Suzann, Mom & I sat in my room and talked while Suzann fluffed my wedding bouquet for me.

Then, Suz & I got ready & went to town for errands. We hit the brand new Dollartree, Target and Cato, where I bought my awesome honeymoon purse. We went to the salon together & ate lunch at my fav Japanese restaurant in Huntsville. It was a great day! :-) What a great way to start my wedding week!

I just went back and read my post from last year... Here it is:

Monday, March 28, 2011

Another great day...

My wonderful friend and pastor's wife for the last 19 years came to Huntsville yesterday and spent the night with us last night. We had an awesome visit! Suzann & I had dinner last night and talked until 3:00 this morning. We got up and ran errands all day until 5 pm when she left to head back to Beaumont. We had a great day together and got alot of things accomplished! :)

Tomorrow morning at 6 am, Mom & I are leaving for Arkansas to go pick up my Granny for the wedding weekend. Please pray for us as we travel. We are driving 5.5 hours there and 5.5 hours straight back to Huntsville. It will be a long day, but we're soooo glad Granny gets to come down for the wedding! :)

Pray for us! I pick up my boy in 4 days! I can't believe it! :) I'm getting married!!!!
